Western River Expeditions
With over 40 years of experience, Western River Expeditions is one of the largest rafting outfits in the United States. In 2001 Western was in need of some new marketing tools and came to Eclipse for help.

The solution was a 25-minute promotional video featuring Western’s Cataract Canyon, Westwater Canyon, and Green River trips. Western’s Utah Trip video showcases the first class amenities guests enjoy, the astonishing beauty of the West's most spectacular canyons, and gives a feel for the heart-pumping excitement of whitewater rafting.
Interactive
Soon after completing the project Western learned that Eclipse could incorporate their new video into an interactive CD-ROM. By doing so, Western was able to show off all their Utah based trips using video, music, images, graphics, text and other information.

Results
With this new CD-ROM, Western was able to streamline their marketing materials and cut costs, all while targeting their clientele in style. As a result Western’s Southern Utah trips experienced over a 20% increase in sales. Brandon Lake, Vice-President of Marketing for Western had the following to say after this sales increase. "With service and results like this, we can’t afford not to work with Eclipse."

The Grand Experience
Thanks to the overwhelming results, Eclipse was asked to produce Western’s second promotion video, a 15-minute piece focusing on Western’s Grand Canyon rafting trips. This video captures the true Grand Canyon experience; from the guides, the scenery, the food, and of course the whitewater.
Tools that Work
After experiencing tremendous success with their first CD-ROM, Western couldn’t resist doing a second, this time showcasing both their Southern Utah and Grand Canyon videos.
This new CD-ROM is bursting at the seams with tons of cool features, for example: A control panel that enables the user to choose the music style and color preference, Slideshows, Interactive Games/Puzzles, and a custom built movie theater in which over 40 minutes of video can be viewed, just to name a few.
